Construction Details

• Great care was taken to the construction on the shared wall to reduce any possible noise. From the studs up; insulation first, then dry-wall, then green glue, then more dry wall.
• Floors joists are 12” OC and significant sound dampening effort was made by installing a rubber barrier between the upstairs and the studio below underneath the engineered floor
• Outside deck on the main level is wired for electric heaters and has a gas stub as well for fire pit, gas heaters, or gas barbecue.
